Porn, parties & politics… oh my!

Have you heard the news? Ashley has already, after only a couple of months, graduated from my quaint little network of blogs to a full-featured solo site/blog under the SMC moniker! Good for her! I’m so proud of her and wish her all the success she can handle – which at her tender age of barely 18, should be quite a bit. Starting today her site at tsashleygeorge.com will become a fan blog on which you can stay current with all of Ashley’s ongoings.

Hey everyone. My new photographer and I had dinner ‘and a show’ (lol!) last week and took a whole bunch of test shots for my new site which should (hopefully) be launching by the spring/early summer. I’m not greedy, so I figured I should share. I even have a few more by request… later! :)

I just wanted to drop a quick note to let everyone know that I’ve finally placed Danielle’s banners onto this site. She’s changed her site’s name from the controversial Sex Change Tranny to the more accurate and socially forward thinking SexChangeGirl.com… and I couldn’t be happier. As I’ve maintained through our entire conflict, I have no personal animosity towards her and I’m far from jealous – she has her thing and I have mine, so please, everybody welcome back the always sexy, always unquestionably talented Danielle Foxx!

As if Tuesdays weren’t hot enough, Ms. Jamie Jameson has gone on and added a TS event to the weekend! As usual, we’ll be at Hamburger Mary’s in Long Beach burning down the house! Come down and enjoy gogo dancing featuring Cobra and Yum’s Valerie and Paris, cash and other prizes, high energy dance music, food all nite, the hottest TS/TG girls this side of porn valley… and the luxury of not having to get up for work the following morning!

One of the most popular posts on this blog is my list of L.A. clubs for transwomen and their admirers. On that list I originally left out what was then a brand-new weekly event that has since proven itself to be a destination worthy of a weekly visit. This post intends to rectify that situation! Last week was the Christmas Party for Jamie Jameson’s ‘T-girl Tuesdays,’ and I happened to be in attendance to witness the night on which those of us who were with Jamie since the beginning became convinced that this was one event that was here to stay.

Actually, I didn’t. I just found out that Internet Explorer users could not view my website in their browsers since its recent redesign. The issue has been resolved for the time being. Dear Dunkins,

Please come back to California. I know you didn’t have a great go of it the first time you were here but we desperately need your help. We live in L.A. – a coffee and donut wasteland. Of our only two real choices for tasty pastries and beverages, Starbucks is overpriced crap and Krispy Kreme can never hold a candle to your French Vanilla coffee and delicious coolattas no matter how many times they change coffee brands, which seems to happen at least once per quarter. Open your eyes, Dunks! Nobody here wants a ‘grande’ (oo la la!) double-mocha, half-caff, cappalatte, whateverthefuck they serve for $7 coffee anymore when they are having trouble supporting their families and would do much better to be allowed the opportunity to explore a lifelong dependency to a better product at a lower price – your product.

OK. I understand that quantity is the name of the game in the TS porn biz and I know a lot of you guys complain when there are less than 100 photos or so per set. I also understand that many TS girls, myself included, have a few more unflattering angles than most GG’s and that most shots, even the bad ones, need to be used. I mean, in my case I’ve been shot in questionable lighting, from a hard side profile, up my nose (yes, really), in shadows, etc. And that’s fine. Every shot can’t be 100%, but seriously, what I don’t understand is why the worst photos seem to always get used as promotional material for new sets. What’s up with that? I’m at the point where I feel my best shots are taken with my own point and shoot camera!

… but it was just a pretty little white one. I said I’d be available for more blogging. Well, I haven’t been. I’ve been busy with real life issues like making money and replacing my roommate YET again among other things.

Thanksgiving was fun. I made a lasagna for lunch and had a neighbor over to share it (after a few last minute cancellations, that is – thanks a lot people!). I spent dinnertime with my son and my would-be boyfriend (don’t ask, it’s complicated) at his house. Mmm. Fried turkey! And Claim Jumper’s Chocolate Silk pies were 50% off at Ralph’s. In a momentarily lapse of reason I only bought one – but I did eat most of it myself! I’ve put on 10 pounds so far this holiday season and I’m OK with that. I’ll lose it in the spring like I usually do. I tend to go into a bit of hibernation mode this time of year. Maybe I was a bear in another life? Watch out, here I come Steven Colbert!

Oh, and I’ve been fighting with the neighbor at the end of the hall (real life drama makes HA seem tame!). She tried to ‘befriend’ me but it didn’t work out. I put ‘befriend’ in quotes because this was really just one of those leeches looking to suck the life blood out of me because I was trusting enough (or stupid enough, depending on whom you ask) to dare out myself as TS (which is why I do it so rarely). Well lady, check this out: I was born male, but despite that fact, I wasn’t born stupid (just kidding guys, lol)! It’s all good though. I got what I wanted out of our little mini-relationship and I’m moving right along… right after I change my phone number so you’ll stop stalking me of course. Get a life, deadbeat. It’s not my fault that you’ve burned everyone out around here.
