Every day I wake up in the morning and before I even get out of bed in the morning – right to the laptop. I’m a busy girl which means I’m working non-stop… even when it looks like I’m not. It may seem like I’m screwing around on message boards and tweaking code to the point of obsession, but it is not wasteful. It is work.
So you would think that promoting myself as an adult model would be easy since I’m already used to living on the computer, but it’s not, and it doesn’t in and of itself pay the bills. It only helps foster the relationships that create the opportunities to make the money with which to pay the bills. Anything you do today is not likely to provide a return today so staying motivated is tough.
But beyond that is the conversation about how one balances promotional work with the work itself. Personally, I use astral projection which allows me to be in two places at once. See? I just go into a trance state and separate my spirit from my body. It’s easy. Really!
